About

We started as a moulding shop that got tired of hearing "good enough".

In 2009 we were making frames for other people's brands. The specs were always the same: cut the coating cost, thin the lens, skip the drop test. In 2014 we put our own name on the temple and started refusing those orders.

Everything we sell today is built to the standard we'd want on our own floor. That means permanent anti-fog instead of a spray, batch impact testing instead of a type test from a decade ago, and a spec sheet that matches what actually arrives in the box. We are not the cheapest quote you will receive. We are the one where the third container matches the first, where the EHS officer signs off without a fight, and where a worker keeps the glasses on for the whole shift because they forgot they were wearing them. Today VIGIL ships to 38 markets, roughly half under our own brand and half under private label for distributors and safety-equipment brands across North America and Europe.

How we work

Three things we will not do.

We won't sell through middlemen.

You talk to the people who run the line. If you need a tolerance changed, it gets changed on the floor, not negotiated through three layers of agents.

We won't quote a spec we can't hold.

If a target price requires cutting the coating or the lens thickness, we say so and walk away. It has cost us orders. It is why our repeat rate is 92%.

We won't hide the paperwork.

Test reports, DoC, SDS, ISO and BSCI certificates are yours on request. Batch traceability for five years, matched to your PO.

Partnership

Distributors and safety brands welcome.

Territory protection, co-branded packaging, forecast-based production slots and marketing assets — we build long relationships, not one-off shipments.

What partners get

  • Territory exclusivity on agreed SKUs
  • Forecast-locked production capacity
  • Co-branded retail packaging from 1,000 pcs
  • Marketing imagery and spec assets
  • Direct line to the export team, not a call centre
